Academic Decathlon

The Academic Decathlon is a high school academic competition. The competition consists of seven objective multiple choice tests, two subjective performance events, and an essay. Acadec is an elective class taken during the school day.

African Student Union

We are a club that promotes awareness, acceptance and appreciation of diverse cultures.  
At meetings, students have the opportunity to learn about new cultures, food and customs.


Anime Club

Anime Club is a fun and care-free environment for students of all fandoms. We play games, watch anime on occasion, cosplay for Halloween, and end the year with a ramen eating contest.

The intent of Student Athletic Leadership Council is to build positive relationships and instill an attitude of servant leadership within our athletes through various activities on our campus and in our community.

Author's Club

This club is for creative writers. Students write short stories, work on world building, character development, and even poetry if they want to. This club is for students who are interested in writing and sharing their ideas and words with other writers.

Step Team- Legacy Notorious Steppers

The team aims to create school spirit in students, to promote better relationships with schools with 
whom we compete and perform, and to provide an environment where students showcase their dancing abilities 
while having fun.


Spanish Honor Society

Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (Spanish Honor Society) is a nationally recognized organization that promotes advanced study of the Spanish language and volunteer service oriented around the Hispanic community. Students are eligible to be members if they are sophomores, juniors, or seniors, and they are currently taking Spanish II and above, or have already completed the highest level of Spanish offered at the home campus. Students do not have to be Hispanic in order to be a member, nor do they have to be fluent in Spanish. Students are encouraged to join if they share an interest in the Spanish culture, social justice, or simply good food and music. In addition, there are a variety of travel and college scholarships available through the American Association for Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, which sponsors the national chapter.

Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) allows students to the field of education as a career choice to learn and utilize skills that are necessary to the profession. Students participate in community service, recreation activities, and competitive events.
