Reminder from our MISD Police department:  Students be sure to have a current parking pass displayed on your vehicle.  Teacher must also display a staff decal or placard on your vehicle.

Attention Seniors, the MISD College Fair is scheduled for November 1st, 2021, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the MISD Performing Arts Center.  There will be over 100 Colleges to recruit you, help with financial aid / FAFSA support and answer other questions you might have.

UIL Math Meeting next week, Wednesday, October 20 after school in W302.  Be sure to put it on your calendar and make plans to stay from 3:00 – 3:45

If you have basketball experience and are interested in trying out for the Legacy freshmen team, tryouts start WED the 20th and you MUST have an updated physical to practice.   More details to come!  See Coach Jones in  W-317 if interested for more info.

There’s a new club at Legacy! Join the Asian Student Union to learn about different Asian cultures, discuss current events, and volunteer in projects serving the Asian community. Everyone is welcome and there will be snacks provided! If you are interested in joining, the first meeting will be on Wednesday, October 20th at 6:50 AM in Coach Keel’s Room R-202.

The Latin Diversities Club would love for you to join us in celebrating El Dia de los Muertos on Nov 2nd. It translates to the day of the dead and it is when Latin Americans celebrate the lives of their loved ones that have passed. If you would like to celebrate with us drop off a picture of your loved one to J-125 where we will explain to you how we will commemorate their lives.

Ms. Black is sponsoring the Black Student Union.  First meeting will be October 19 at 3:00 in room Y-306.
