Fines and Fees: We have many students that have outstanding fines and fees. These can be paid through Skyward or through the Bookkeeper on campus. If you are a senior, you will not be able to purchase prom tickets or pick up you graduation tickets until all of your fines and fees have been cleared. If you need to work out a payment plan, please see the bookkeeper.
The FAFSA opened on December 31st. The state of Texas now requires seniors to complete the FAFSA, or formally opt out. If you are planning to attend college, you should complete the FAFSA. Even if you don’t think you’ll qualify for “free” money, many colleges require the FAFSA to be completed and use it when considering students for scholarships. We have scheduled some evening help sessions at the MISD Center for the Performing Arts to assist with your FASFA! These sessions, at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts, are on on January 16th, January 25th, February 8th and February 20th. You will receive an e-mail to register for one of these evenings if you need help. You can also get FASFA assistance at the Legacy Go Center.
Caps & Gowns have been delivered! Jostens was on campus Wednesday, February 21 to deliver your cap and gowns and graduation announcements. Please look for an email from Jostens if you still need to pay off your balance (orders will not be delivered if there is an outstanding balance owed). You can pick up any items not yet collected in the Academic Office.
