HOCO Dance (Saturday, 9/12, 7:00pm-10:00pm in the Legacy Cafeteria)

• We are selling tickets for the Homecoming Dance. There are only 750 tickets being sold and once they are gone, they are gone. So don’t miss out. All LHS students are able to attend. If you plan to bring a guest from another school, those completed guest forms are due next Wednesday, August 26th. Those forms may be picked up in the Bookkeeper’s Office. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased during all lunches and after school in the Bookkeeper’s Office near the cafeteria.  Please contact Mr. Williams (dedricwilliams@misdmail.org) if you have any questions. 

Patriot Day Observance

• JROTC will be conducting a Patriot Day annual observance on Friday, September 11, at 7am to remember those who were affected during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Please join us at the flagpole in front of the school.

Legacy Medical Society

• Calling all future medical professionals...Legacy Medical Society will be hosting their first meeting on Tuesday September 1st in the library at 3:00pm. Come hear what all we have planned for this year and see how you can get involved!

MISD Esports Club

• Attention Legacy students. Are you interested in competitive video games like Valorant, Fortnite, and more? Then come check out the MISD Esports Club!

  Whether you’re looking to compete in tournaments or just want to play games and meet new people, there’s a place for you in this club. Competitive players will have a chance to compete on teams with other students from across the district and qualify for tournaments across Texas! No skill is required to play!

  The MISD Esports Club is open to ANY MISD HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT. Our interest meeting will be this Tuesday, September 1st, on the Ben Barber campus in room B202. In the future the meetings will be every other Tuesday from 3:30 to 4:30. Check the flyers out around the school and scan the QR code to register. Come see what the MISD Esports Club has to offer!   Legacy Theatre

• Legacy Theatre's Mission: IMPROVable's first show of the year will take place on Tuesday, September 8th! The show is at 7 pm in the Legacy PAC! Tickets are only $5, so come and see all of the new, hilarious improv comedians take the stage!

• To make things EVEN BETTER, there is a Spirit Night at Raising Cane's on the SAME NIGHT! Visit Cane's near Sam's Club from 4-10pm on the 8th for dinner before or after the show to double dip your support! See you there!
