Do you have an interest in the Spanish language or culture? Do you enjoy serving the community? Do you want a chance to win scholarships to study abroad or for college? If so, the Spanish Honor Society is the place for you. Legacy Spanish Honor Society is having its first meeting this Wednesday, September 1st from 3:00-3:30 in Ms. Suarez’s room. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in or have completed Spanish 3. However, if you don’t meet the requirements, you can still be a part of the program! This year, to make the program more inclusive, the officers are starting a chapter of the Spanish Society of Friendship. It was established to promote community service and an appreciation for the Hispanic culture, particularly for 9th graders and for students who are still taking their first 3 semesters of Spanish. The Spanish Honor Society recognizes excellent students in Spanish 3 and beyond. All meetings will be held jointly.
A silver bracelet was found in cafeteria. You will need to describe to pick up. Go to room B101.
Attention Juniors: If you missed Jostens on campus taking your ring on September 1st and 2nd. You can design your ring and print off your order form online at www.jostens.com to speed up the ordering process at school.
