Daily Announcements for the Week of 12/10/18

  • Spanish Honor Society invites you to our Posada. A celebration of Christmas and Hispanic culture on Thursday, December 13 at 3 pm in AJ103. We will have food, music, and fun!
  • Legacy Theatre will present The Last Night of Ballyhoo by Alfred Uhry this weekend in the Legacy PAC. Shows are Thursday through Saturday at 7:00 and Sunday at 2. Tickets are $5 for stuidents and $7 for adults. Please join us for a great holiday show!
  • There will be a meeting for all boys who want to run track (sprinters, throwers, distance runners, jumpers) Wednesday, December 12th at 3:15 in Coach Bates room W315.
  • TCC students - this is a reminder that next week, December 17th - 20th, you are REQUIRED to report and remain in the library during your TCC class period(s). Attendance will be taken and reported to the attendance office. If you do not report to the library, you will be in danger of absence failing your TCC course. So make a good choice and report to the library everyday next week during your TCC class period.   Also, do not forget to turn your TCC textbooks into the 2nd floor AP office the day of your final(s). These books are extremely expensive and you do not want to be charged for them. Also, you will not be able to check out your textbooks for your next semester TCC courses until you have turned them in.

  • All students - If you qualify for an exemption, you will pick up your exemption stickers, Thursday, December 13th, in the cafeteria during your lunch. Each student may earn up to 2 exemptions for the Fall semester. In order to be exempt from a semester exam, you must have at least an 80 or above average in the class you want to exempt, two or fewer absences in that class prior to the exam and you cannot have been assigned AC, suspended, or BIC. It is your responsibility to keep up with the stickers once you receive them. We will not re-issue stickers once they have been picked up by the student. Be sure you pick-up your exemption stickers on Thursday during lunches. You must wear your ID to be able to receive the stickers. If you miss the pick up time you will only be able to get your stickers AFTER SCHOOL for the remainder of that week. These stickers should be a priority to you, so make sure you get them!

  • Kudos to Rod Nutley – our November 2018 Teacher of the Month! The November 2018 Trait of the Month was Integrity. Coach Nutley conducts himself with strong moral principles, uprightness and honesty in regard to student and staff interactions. He can always be counted on to do the right thing. Congratulations to Coach Nutley. He is a true example of what Bronco Nation stands for.

  • Students: We will not accept deliveries from restaurant drivers, door dash, ubereats, or any other delivery company for student’s food. Also, do not attempt to meet the driver outside in order to get food delivered. Consequences will be issued to any student caught having food delivered to school by anyone other than your parent.
